"Accomplishing significant change often requires a change in culture," says David Weldon, adjunct research advisor with IDC's IT Executive Programs (IEP). "While the CIO must be prepared to champion and lead the effort, they must convince boards of directors on how proposed change will impact business growth in order to earn their support.
