Strong Q1 2024 for Industrial Printer Shipment Value, According to IDC

NEEDHAM, Mass., June 28, 2024 –Q1 2024 saw industrial printer shipments declined 3.3% compared to Q1 2023 while shipment value increased +5.6% during the same period according to the newest release from the International Data Corporation (IDC) Worldwide Quarterly Industrial Printer Tracker. "Wide format digital printers have consistently shown resilience and adaptability by maintaining a strong market presence and responding dynamically to the diverse needs of large-scale printing requirements.” said Phuong Hang, research director, research director, Program Director at IDC. "We also saw double-digit year-over-year growths in label & packaging market, +25% for unit shipments and 51% for shipment value.”
