Abstract


This IDC Survey presentation examines data collected from IDC's 2024 Consumer Behavioral Survey. The survey examines consumers' psychological traits, purchasing decisions, engagement with generative AI (GenAI) and the gig economy, and time allocation for entertainment and social media/creators across the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, China, and Brazil. This IDC Survey presentation looks specifically at what influences consumer purchase decisions.
