Abstract
This IDC study discusses forecast data for the worldwide AI-enabled PC market from 2024 to 2028. By 2028, we think NPU will approach ubiquity with only 5.2% of PCs featuring a CPU sans NPU. We are also projecting shipments of 100+ TOPS discrete GPUs to grow from 22.8 million in 2023 to 36.4 million in 2028. We're projecting AI-enabled PC shipments to grow with a CAGR of 42.1% from 2023 to 2028, with Arm accounting for 17.6% of all shipments in 2028.
