Abstract
This IDC Survey Spotlight analyzes how SAP software licensing budgeting by organizations is split between various SAP workloads, and whether this varies by company size. This looks mainly into workloads within the business applications and data management categories and examines why these workloads dominate SAP licensing spending among respondents. It also investigates the variations that can be found in spending on SAP workloads between small businesses of fewer than 1,000 employees, those with 1,000 to fewer than 5,000, and those with 5,000+ employees. These insights come from respondents to IDC's 2023 SAP Infrastructure View Survey, published in February 2024.
