Abstract
This IDC Survey Spotlight reveals that most organizations are planning to expand existing AI functions across HR, invest in AI for data-driven decisions, and introduce AI into new areas of HR in the next 12–18 months. Talent acquisition and analytics, HR documentation, payroll support, communications, and HR help desk automation are the leading categories for which HR leaders and the digital cosponsors plan to pursue AI and GenAI use cases. While early exploration into AI and GenAI is concentrating on augmented human decision-making and reduced insights delivery timing, companies are also starting to express interest in digital agency to reduce stakeholder burdens for probable tasks in content management, content generation, audits and reviews, data visualization, and basic behavioral bias analysis. Among companies moving beyond early use cases for content management, digital agency is spreading to support talent acquisition and learning management specialists with content and requisition generation and oversight.
