Abstract

This IDC Survey Spotlight examines technologies that developers use to interact with foundation models. Examples of such technologies include classical machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow, foundation model APIs, turnkey development frameworks such as Salesforce Einstein Copilot and the Microsoft Copilot Studio, and development frameworks such as LangChain and LlamaIndex. In addition, the Survey Spotlight examines the extent to which developers leverage low-code and no-code developer tools to create generative AI applications that leverage foundation models.
