This IDC Survey Spotlight highlights results from the following question posed to 803 respondents and firms with 1,000+ employees across 5 countries, and several major industries, as part of IDC's 2024 Worldwide Managed Services Survey: "Deal evolution: When it comes to your company's/organization's existing managed services engagements, in general, how do you believe they will evolve in the next 12–24 months?" This IDC Survey Spotlight then assesses the impact of changes that enterprises are looking to make on their sourcing strategies with managed services contracts and managed service providers (SPs) and highlights how managed SPs need to drive efficiencies, establish where value is driven, and clearly define market position.
