Abstract


This IDC Survey presentation examines knowledge management (KM) processes and integrations within organizations.

IDC's Enterprise Content and Knowledge Management Services team conducted a survey of IT and business decision-makers in North America to explore the current state of knowledge management solutions within organizations.

For the purposes of this IDC Survey, knowledge management solutions are defined as technologies and processes designed to facilitate finding, capturing, creating, sharing, using, and accessing knowledge. Knowledge management can improve the collective knowledge base, and it can deliver better outcomes for internal users and/or external customers and partners.
