Abstract
This IDC Survey Spotlight examines where financial services industry (FSI) organizations are currently in adopting modern data tools, capabilities, and processes to support AI and GenAI initiatives and prioritizing AI/GenAI use cases to automate front-office and back-office operations. It also suggests steps FSI organizations can take to prepare, deliver, and govern high-quality customer data needed for AI/GenAI use cases.
Business and technology buyers in FSI industry can use the survey results to benchmark their data strategies and AI/GenAI development for customer engagement and enablement and other use cases.
Customer Data Platform (CDP) vendors can also use the results to influence their product road map, messaging, and go-to-market strategies to meet the data and AI requirements for customer engagement and enablement, channel automation, and other CX-related use cases within the FSI industry.
