Abstract
This IDC study presents the five-year forecast for smartwatch shipments in the United States.
"Total smartwatch volumes will dip down to levels seen prior to the pandemic," says Ramon T. Llamas, research director, IDC's Wearables program. "Multiple device markets are anticipating a decline in volumes this year due to inflation and economic pressure, and the smartwatch market is no different. However, recovery is expected shortly thereafter, and the market will return to its upward — yet slow — trajectory."
