Abstract
This IDC study explores the evolving landscape of virtual client computing (VCC). The study underscores the shift toward simpler, more accessible VCC solutions, driven by the advent of hybrid work and the increasing integration of AI technologies. It anticipates a future in which digital workspaces will coordinate a variety of AI models and applications, necessitating sophisticated virtual client computing solutions to encapsulate and manage this complexity. In light of these requirements, the study provides criteria for selecting VCC vendors.
