This IDC Survey Spotlight examines the midyear 2023 view of IT spending activities and perspectives for the remainder of the year collected from IDC's July 2023 Future Enterprise Resiliency and Spending Survey, Wave 6. Though recession fears continue, IT leaders generally haven't faced severe budget cuts and 30% expect to spend more in 2H23. Leading the list of areas most immune to budget and spending cuts is security, risk, and compliance.
