This IDC Survey Spotlight highlights results from the following question posed to 1,500 respondents and firms with 1,000+ employees across 5 countries, and several major industries, as part of IDC's 2023 Worldwide Managed Cloud View Survey: "Standardized private clouds — Please select the primary reason that your company/organization would consider utilizing a standardized private cloud (IaaS) infrastructure (dedicated to your company/organization) from a managed service provider." This IDC Survey Spotlight then assesses the impact of enterprise priorities in utilizing standardized private clouds as part of managed cloud services and highlights how managed SPs need to ensure compatibility of private clouds with public cloud platforms, support the ability to repatriate from public clouds to private clouds, incorporate a multicloud management platform, and create a compelling reason to use standardized private clouds.
