Abstract
This IDC Market Note discusses the GTC 2023 conference, March 20–24, 2023, where NVIDIA made several announcements related to conversational AI, natural language processing, large language models, speech recognition/generation, and translation. NVIDIA announced cloud services that enable businesses to build, refine, and operate custom large language models and generative AI models for conversational AI.
"NVIDIA's launch of the NeMo Language Service as a SaaS offering that allows developers to build and customize large language models (LLMs) for their own use will accelerate the deployment and use of generative AI within enterprises over the next 12–24 months," said Dave Schubmehl, vice president of Conversational AI Tools and Technologies at IDC. "Organizations will be looking to leverage generative AI for their own use cases and benefits to increase ROI and productivity and improve customer satisfaction."
