This IDC PeerScape discusses best practices for student engagement in higher education.
"In response to rising demand for tools to enhance student engagement, vendors have emerged across a range of technology categories with new tools and capabilities. As a result, there is not one clear or widely agreed upon definition of what 'student engagement' is," said Matthew Leger, research manager, IDC's Worldwide Education Digital Transformation Strategies practice. "This research is an important first step in helping create a clearer definition of student engagement and provide institutions with critical guidance to improve student experiences at their institutions."
