Abstract
This IDC Survey takes a deep dive into the role that sustainability plays in the context of IT infrastructure planning and procurement. Over 700 participants across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) were polled as a part of a global survey. The survey respondents included managers (directors and managers of IT and line-of-business functions), C-level executives, and vice presidents. All respondents held significant decision-making or influencing roles in delivering digital outcomes and building out digital infrastructure within their respective organizations.
While global in nature, the survey data and analysis provided details by region, industry, and respondent role. The data collected will form a baseline for future IDC surveys, which will be repeated annually. These surveys will be conducted to gain insights into organizations' needs and spending plans related to sustainable IT infrastructure.
