This IDC Survey deck presents data derived from IDC Energy Insights' Global Utilities and Oil and Gas Survey, 2024 and covers EMEA utilities' IT investment directions.
IDC Energy Insights' Global Utilities and Oil and Gas Survey, 2024, conducted between November 2023 and January 2024, is a landmark study covering utilities around the world.
The survey interviewed 600 respondents, 418 of whom were from utilities operating in the following geographies: the U.K., the Nordics, the Netherlands, DACH, Spain, France, Poland, Italy, Romania, Turkey, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Nigeria, the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Colombia, the Philippines, Singapore, Australia, and New Zealand.
This study extrapolates and analyzes select data for 243 EMEA utilities.
The survey data in this presentation relates to IT investment direction, with analysis relating to such topics as:
- Challenges to technology innovation
- IT budget allocation
- Changes in external IT budgets
