Abstract
This IDC Survey presents insights from IDC's 2024 Future Enterprise Resiliency and Spending Survey, Wave 1. The document asked IT decision makers worldwide to understand the implications of issues related to generative AI (GenAI) awareness, readiness, and commitment as well as the implications for IT investment, governance, and partnering decisions. This report focuses on the responses of 300 IT leaders in Asia/Pacific to understand how IT leaders are assessing the implications of GenAI on their long-term relationships with external IT SPs. Specifically, it aims to assess the impact of GenAI on IT services spending, the evolving services ecosystem, and the kind of business and technology services enterprises desire from their IT SPs for their GenAI-related needs.
