Abstract

This Market Note discusses how the need for organizations to integrate sustainability initiatives into their networking strategies is becoming stronger. However, compliance, management, and reporting on sustainability KPIs are major hurdles today. "Service providers have a dual role to play in the enterprise sustainability equation. In addition to demonstrating their own commitment to sustainability, organizations are looking for service providers to help them with their respective ESG journey as well. We expect ESG goals and initiatives to start to trickle down to the enterprise network and IT teams over the next couple of years, further accentuating the role of service providers in achieving, managing, and reporting on those goals for their enterprise customers," says Nikhil Batra, senior research director for telecoms, IDC Asia/Pacific.
